April newsletter

Greetings people of Sia!

Welcome to April’s edition of eventful beauty and wellbeing news!

We were hoping that the sun would be out by now, hopefully not long to go let’s keep that positive thinking going and of course the sun shall manifest 

Highlights

Last month saw us attend the “All Girls Rock “event in central London, where women and girls spoke about how they encouraged one another to be confident through life experiences, as well as practical suggestions that explored femininity.

Our Co-Founder Maame who is a Qualified Beautician can be seen giving The All Girl’s Rock Co-founder -Marcia, a Deluxe Pedicure as our way of expressing confidence from the inside-out. A pedicure can make one feel uplifted as well encourage the skin to feel revitalised and relaxed.

Another wonderful event was the “Your Vision Your life” presented by Coach Carla and No Ordinary Woman Chat Show Host - Caz Mac. This event focused on how we can all use the power of vision boards and positive affirmations to create the life we want.

What can you do to have Wonderful Skin?

Did you know that your skin is the biggest organ and more than likely the first thing that people notice when they see you.

Having a dedicated beauty routine can help simplify any concerns one has regarding the health of their skin.

At MamaSia we believe taking care of your wellbeing starts from the inside out. Using natural ingredients such as Moringa and Baobab which are fortified with naturally occurring amino acids and minerals can help support your skin, hair and overall health.

Using natural products is an excellent way to be sure that your skin gets all the nutrients it needs.

One essential nutrient is Vitamin E part of its function is responsible for not only healing the skin’s epidermis (the top layer of the skin) but it also helps block free radicals which play a big part in the aging process.

We always make sure we tell you that if your moisturiser lacks vitamin E it should be avoided at all costs.

Thankfully MamaSia is able to provide you with an abundant supply in the form of our Shea Butter. We source it directly from our family lands and have infused some of our products with essential oils such as Grapefruit, Tea Tree, Lavender plus more that not only provide added benefits, but include that all important Vitamin E naturally occurring in our Shea Butter.

To find out more about our products and how you can incorporate Vitamin E into your beauty routine take a closer look here: http://www.mama-sia.com/index.php/shop/shea-bt

About Us

Established in 2012, based in the UK, MamaSia supplies and produces natural skincare, beauty and wellbeing products, from their own lands in Ghana.

OUR OBJECTIVE

  • share
  • inspire
  • assist

OUR AIM

  • To always use natural products whenever sourcing or manufacturing our end produce, by using traditional methods of manufacturing which is predominantly prepared by hand. Most of the products ingredients are farmed by the women from our own families, so it is a natural instinct for us to emphasise women's development.
  • We have two avenues of trade.  First and foremost is the wholesale channel, where raw materials can be sourced and then further developed by manufacturers. Secondly, we produce retail products for the consumers, that want to experience and advocate natural well-being or simply as a solution to their individual needs.

OUR MISSION

  • To create a fun loving environment for all. To encourage family values and recognise women in business led communities.
  • To help neighbouring communities (families) realise their business potential, by endorsing and encouraging thought lead initiatives through social responsibility.
  • To always work together as a collective, or in our case as a family.
  • To ensure that all the world benefits from the natural resources provided by the farmers, producers, distributors and end users.
  • To continue to have 100% natural products. We only farm and package the raw ingredients from our lands into your hands.

WHAT WE DO

  • Our ingredients are sourced from our families that have centuries of agricultural and well-being knowledge.
  • Our ingredients are indigenous to the people sourcing and distributing it.

Testimonials

I had always had problems with my skin notably my face; for over 20 years I had spent money on cosmetics that were ‘designed’ for sensitive or problem skin however they never seemed to work. A representative from Mama-Sia approached me  whilst I did some grocery shopping we started talking about my skin , she began to tell me about Shea Butter  and its benefits- I ordered a jar of  Mama- Sia’s  Shea butter and black Soap. I never got the chance to try the products first time round as my daughter beat me to it! She also had problems with her  skin shocked and amazed we both noticed the difference straight away- I love the texture of the products and I’m delighted that you only need a little at a time which is good for me, being a mother of four the whole house hold is now using my beloved products!

Jenny -London

I had just given Birth to healthy baby girl she was beautiful everything I could have wished for- the only thing was her skin was dry; the doctor prescribed me a cream containing steroids which slightly scared her skin. A friend recommended Mama-Sia’s Coco butter and black soap.
I began to use the products too, and noticed the skin around my eyes (dark circles around my eyes) had improved my skin had a beautiful glow, and my baby’s skin has never been better.

Mowit- Surrey

I have always used natural products, but there was so many to choose from and it was hard to tell what was genuine and what had other added ingredients in it. – However when I used Mama –Sia’s Black soap I was hooked! I couldn’t believe with all my knowledge with natural products there was something that I hadn’t been exposed to and that had so many benefits. A Mama-Sia representative took her time to demonstrate how to use the soap and explain its origins and how it was processed in African tradition.

Mary- Hertfordshire

I would  always dread shaving so I opted for a bearded look however when I got  a new job I wanted a new look- I really wanted to shave but dreaded the after effects- red sore skin and razor bumps. But since being introduced to the Mama-Sia range I have lovely soft skin that doesn’t only  look good but has made me feel good inside too.
